Background: Dr. Patel is a transplant physician at the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah. He has a particular interest in allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation as well as cellular therapies for the treatment of malignant and benign hematologic diseases in adult patients. Dr. Patel’s research interests focus on the management of potential complications of such therapy including disease relapse and acute and chronic graft-versus-host disease. Connecting patients with innovative clinical trials is a priority for Dr. Patel and his team.
