Background: Dr. Scheiber has extensive experience working with bone marrow/stem cell transplant patients and those undergoing CAR T-cell therapy. Prior to going into private practice she worked in oncology at UC San Diego, Stanford Health Care and at Colorado Blood Cancer Institute as the BMT psychologist. She has worked with patients from diagnosis through long-term survivorship and has helped patients with post-transplant issues such as graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), secondary cancers, relapse, end of life concerns and grief and loss.
