Background: Ms. Baldacci gained experience working with stem cell transplant patients at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago from diagnosis through early survivorship. She has helped patients with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), as well as those dealing with other post-transplant issues such as secondary cancers, end of life concerns, and grief and bereavement.
She is now in private practices and specializes in supporting children and adults (and their families) impacted by cancer and other chronic illnesses. She helps people manage medical-related changes, anxiety, relationship issues and, in some cases, issues of grief and loss.
