Background: Dr. Baughn has experience evaluating veterans for referral to a transplant center, and has done some short-term follow-up when patients return. Although most of his experience has been with patients needing a solid organ transplant, he has also worked with some patients who need a bone marrow/stem cell transplant and has a basic understanding of the procedure and some post-transplant issues. He does not have experience with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).
