Background: Dr. Bigham is Director of the Psycho-Social Oncology Program at Augusta University Medical Center. She is passionate about providing high quality care to patients and families affected by bone marrow/stem cell transplantation or CAR T-cell therapy. She is familiar with issues patients face through all phases of treatment, and has experience with post-transplant issues including graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), relapse, survivorship, end of life concerns and grief and bereavement. In addition to seeing patients, she trains fellows and interns, and advocates for patients on medical teams.
