My message is that I always try to remember I am blessed to still be alive. My pain and discomfort may be bad at times, but I’m blessed to be alive. I always tell myself that someone, somewhere, has it much worse than I do. So suck it up, buttercup, and enjoy being on this earth to live another day.

With me, my GVHD comes and goes. My eyes worried me the most. Went to a specialist, tried all kinds of eye drops. But about 5 months ago, they seemed to heal on their own.
I also have problems with my very thin skin. Bruises, cuts that are slow to heal. A simple scratch on my leg from my puppy quickly became infected and needed antibiotics.
