I get inspired to continue fighting against GVHD by appreciating the small wins . By my mother who has never left my side and by others with the same condition that never give up.

Tell us how GVHD is affecting your life.
I was born with a rare blood disorder and I got a BMT it saved my life but unfortunately,I got GVHD which has affected mostly my eyes, skin and throat.

GVHD has thought me to appreciate even the smallest things whether it’s a big or a sip of my favorite soda. Some days the pain is too much that even drinking water hurts. I’ve had to learn how to love and accept myself for who I am now. Some days are better than others but I’m still here fighting and winning. Because everyday I was up it’s a win! ❤️

What is your message of hope? What inspires you to continue the fight against GVHD?
