Meet the Speakers

Diana Cirstea

Dr. Diana Cirstea is a hematologist-oncologist at the Mass General Brigham Cancer Center, specializing in plasma cell disorders with a focus on T-cell redirecting therapies, including CAR T cells and T-cell engagers.  Dr. Cirstea is a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and part of the Massachusetts General Hospital Multiple Myeloma Program. Her work is dedicated to advancing innovative immune-based treatments and expanding patient access to novel therapies.
 

 

Faramand

Dr. Rawan Faramand is a medical oncologist at Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, where she specializes in Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Immunotherapy.

Dr. Faramand’s clinical focus is on allogeneic stem cell transplantation for hematologic malignancies. She is particularly interested in improving outcomes for patients with acute leukemias, including acute lymphoblastic leukemias, acute myeloid leukemia, and myelodysplastic syndrome.  

 

Jay SpiegelDr. Jay Spiegel is an Assistant Professor at the Miami Miller School of Medicine and a hematologist in the Transplant and Cellular Therapy Division of the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in Miami, Florida.

He is a translational researcher working to improve CAR T-cell outcomes for B-cell malignancies such as lymphoma. He has led first-in-human clinical trials of novel CAR-T therapies and investigator-initiated trials testing CAR-T in combination with targeted therapies.
