I hope that a cure can be found one day and that we can all dance in celebration of a cure!
I am a Penn State Nursing Student who has had the wonderful opportunity to be paired with a patient through the Cancer Institute. My patient and their partner have been impacted by GVHD and has affected their daily lives. I have had the honor of accompanying them to their appointments and seeing how GVHD is life-altering. I hope that my patient and everyone who is fighting against GVHD can one day be free of this disease. I hope that a cure can be found one day and that we can all dance in celebration of a cure! I want everyone to know that they are not alone in this battle and to keep fighting! You are stronger than you know :)
