What inspires me? If I fought this hard to stay alive, I am not going to settle. I will laugh as much as possible along the way. I will always push the boundaries of what's possible.
Dedicated Medical professionals with huge hearts and much knowledge are studying how God or The Source of Everything works. As much as the medical profession tries, scientists don't fully understand how things work or what is possible. Listen to professionals experience/knowledge but never let it limit yourself or your experience. We all need to listen to that inner voice. One of my biggest asset has been to be willing to take contrary action. For me, the antidote to fatigue was to get up and move. As a high school athlete, my experience was to get better at something, I needed to be willing to be uncomfortable. I always do this in the safest way possible so I don't create more problems. What inspires me? If I fought this hard to stay alive, I am not going to settle. I will laugh as much as possible along the way. I will always push the boundaries of what's possible. For me consciously spending time with God each day has been essential. I need to remember where my power comes from and to listen for direction. Gratitude is and will continue to be a critical component. Grateful for God, Dr Hares Ali, Dr Aria Hong, City of Hope staff in all roles and Carrie's Care team (Karen, Susan, Mary, Chet, Jeanine)
