Background: Dr. Hayes has had extensive experience treating patients with GVHD from mild symptoms to vaginal agglutination and menstrual obstruction. She has cared for patients with vulvovaginal GVHD during fellowship training in pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and during her time at Primary Children's Hospital. During visits she monitors for both mild and severe symptoms, from vulvar irritation to vaginal agglutination. She care for patients from childhood into early adulthood.
