Background: Ms. Cowden has experience working with transplant patients, as well as those who have received CAR T-cell therapy. A stem cell transplant survivor herself, she is very familiar with all phases of transplant, including long-term survivorship, and the difficulty of dealing with chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) as well as other post-transplant issues such as secondary cancers, relapse and grief and bereavement.
