Background: Dr. Perlmutter previously worked at Emory University's Winship Cancer Institute and Northside Hospital where she saw both stem cell transplant recipients and CAR T-cell therapy patients. She is passionate about helping transplant patients, particularly those struggling with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), as well as other challenges including relapse, secondary cancers, end of life issues and grief and loss.
