Background: Ms. Dicovich has worked with patients who have severe or chronic medical problems. Although none were transplant recipients, she does have familiarity with stem cell transplantation after helping a family member, who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, go through an autologous stem cell transplant. She does not have experience working with patients who had a transplant using donor cells (allogeneic transplant), those who have had CAR T-cell therapy, or those with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).
