Background: Dr. Sontag is very experienced working with stem cell transplant patients from diagnosis through long-term survivorship, as well as those undergoing CAR T-cell therapy. She is familiar with the variety of post-transplant issues patients may face including graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), second cancers, relapse, end of life concerns and grief and bereavement. She formerly worked with patients at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati where she coordinated support groups for stem cell transplant survivors.
