Background: Ms. Mazzone has been working in private practice providing psychotherapy for the past year. Prior to this, she worked both in inpatient and outpatient social work roles at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland. She worked with adults with all cancer diagnoses, including in all the hematology clinics. She conducted pre-transplant assessments, ongoing follow up during the year post-transplant, and supported those with complications secondary to transplant (GVHD included) and secondary cancers. She has a particular interest in working with those individuals at the end of life, as well as with their loved ones. While she is somewhat familiar with CAR T-cell therapy, she has not specifically worked with anyone utilizing this treatment.
