CAR T-cell therapy (chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy) is a type of immune therapy that uses the body's own immune system to treat cancer. This presentation describes what’s involved in undergoing CAR T-cell therapy, potential side effects and outcomes, and research underway to treat more diseases and improve outcomes and quality of life for CAR T-cell recipients.
