There are many benefits to art-therapy and card making in particular:
- Stress relief: quick, playful, and an enjoyable way to make art!
- Mood boost: Giving handmade cards to friends and family can create a sense of joy and satisfaction.
- Emotional connection: Cards can create an emotional connection between the sender and recipient.
- Physical connection: Cards are tangible and tactile, and the fact that both parties have touched the card creates a physical connection.

Suggested Materials:
- Drawing materials- ink pens, pencils.
- Markers or colored pencils
- Watercolor paints
- Thick drawing paper, cardstock, or watercolor paper
